Your acupressure ball was hand-carved from cedar wood in Europe, keeping in line with our sustainability values. It can be used on various parts of the body. You can decide how strong the sensory stimulus is  - a slight tickling sensation or stronger pressure.

Grip the ball in the palm of your hand - this reduces the sensations of contractions by releasing endorphins -  our bodies natural painkillers.

Rolling the ball on your foot during pregnancy and labour can bring relief. Gentle touch helps us feel safe, calm and supported - this triggers oxytocin! Roll gently over muscles ( buttocks, thighs and back) to soothe pain. You can practise the different types of massage with your birth partner before labour.
